Electrocoagulation System Principle

The system operates through three key electrochemical processes:

Electrochemical reaction: Fe→Fe²⁺+2e⁻
Anodizing reaction: 2OH⁻→2[O]+2e⁻→O₂+2e⁻
Cathode reduction: 2H⁺+2e⁻→2[H]→H₂

These oxidation and reduction reactions continuously occur on the plates, providing effective wastewater treatment through:

  • Strong oxidation from nascent oxygen [O] (comparable to UV, H₂O₂, and O₃)
  • Powerful reduction from nascent hydrogen that breaks chemical bonds
  • Effective removal of COD, chromophore functional groups, and multi-chain compounds

  • Safe and convenient: Embedded isolated voltage circuit ensures electrical safety with comprehensive protection against phase loss, overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, and zero voltage conditions
